Hey guys!! It’s that time again! We’re kicking off the summer right with another Bath House Bash! Well, now that we’re not in neo anymore, we can utter the forbidden words . . . PARTY!!!!!!!! XD
Hey, I just realized that today is the last day of June! That’s appropriate, because it wouldn’t really be right to have a “beginning of summer” party in July!
Well, I hope lots of you guys stop by today to chat! Happy Partying!!^^
**OH! And don’t forget that the reason we’re celebrating today is to give props to our very own Tin for completing her high school education! I couldn’t have asked for a better second-in-command Tin! Thanks for all your hard work throughout the years. Everything you do helps to make our guild better and better! Congratulations on your achievement and may the future bring you many new and exciting adventures!! ^__^

^_^ Thank you Yu-Baaba-sama! *bows* I'm very honored to be your second in command.
And of course you know I'm going to get you to fly up here when I open my anime store. Seriously, it'll be amazing. It won't just be anime either. I'll have a PS2 and Wii set up for gaming so kids can just hang out, or there will also be another TV to watch anime or live action shows on. All in Japanese with English subtitles of course.

That will be so awesome! It sounds amazing! I can wait to see it!!!!! XD
You know what might be a cool idea? I always see kids in book stores reading manga. I know a lot of them probably can't afford to buy the books, so they'll just read them in the store. It's kinda sad, because the store loses a lot of business that way. I've always thought they should set up a "manga club" where kids can maybe pay an inexpensive yearly or monthly fee and come in and read all the manga they want or maybe even check some out like a library. I don't know if that would catch on, but it seems like it would be better than losing all that money. Oh wait. I just realized why a lot of manga comes shrink-wrapped now! Hahaha!

Hahahaha! I noticed that too. I generally don't read the manga in the store, but flip through it to decide if I want it. lol.
The Manga Club sounds like a good idea. I'd have to work out the specifics though. I have a lot of other really cool ideas in my head though. An example is if customers use a re-usable bag they get 10-20% off their purchase, depending on how big the purchase is. There will be no plastic bags in my store. *nods* I'm even going to get some reusable bags printed with the Anime-Niax logo on it. ^_^

Hehe, I definitely just almost logged in as "Elaina" instead of "Maru". Uh... uh... I can't think of anything other than "Yay, Tin!"
Oh, Yu-Baaba-sama, did you know that neopets has blocked ellipses now? Me and Tin were talking about that on MSN yesterday.

AHHH! A green anime store! That would be so cool to give a discount and to have your own supply of re-usables!^^
We need more business people like you Tin! At the restaurant where I work, there is so much waste. I try to do what I can to make things better.
I still get weird looks from checkout people when I ask them to put all my items in my re-usable bags. But more people are starting to use them, so I think the stores are getting used to it!
Plastic is such a horrible substance as far as pollution goes. Did u know there is a part of the ocean between San Francisco and Hawaii where miles and miles of plastic have somehow collected there? Scientists are calling it the Great Garbage Patch! @__@

That's probably from the current dragging it there. They'd better find a way to clean it out eventually... shouldn't be *that* hard...

Wow. I didn't realize that. o.O Interesting.
Yeah, I take home all the recyclables from work and put them in my own recycle bin.
I actually worked out a deal on the re-usable bags where if a customer has a purchase of more than $50 that they get a reusable bag for free, and if it's between $20-49 then they can just buy one for a $1 more.

That’s so cool Tin!
REALLY??? Neo blocked ellipses?? But why? What is the harm in . . . TNT are fascist dictators!!!!!!!
Yah. It does have something to do with the currents in that area. I guess, or so I read, that the reason no one is doing anything (other than the fact that it’s expensive) is that taking on the problem is like admitting blame or something. No country wants to take responsibility for the mess. But that’s the lamest excuse ever!! The plastic is from everyone, and everyone needs to pitch in to remove it! *Stoopid governments* -_-

Not to mention... Plastic is made with oil. XD It's like they're wasting money just letting it sit out there. lol. But not really. As plastic bags can't be turned into anything once they're like that. But we seriously need to get rid of them.

...Why is everyone whining about gas prices then? Why don't they just stop making plastic bags, and use the oil to make more gas instead?

You two have the same number of posts! That’s so funny!! HAHAHA!
Oh, Tin! I do the same with the empty beer and wine bottles from my restaurant!
Yah. Plastic bags are so wasteful. I’m trying to cut back on my bottled water intake too! I drink water on the go all the time. At home I’m trying to drink filtered water now. I just need to find some good re-usable bottles for when I go out!
Well, really there is plenty of oil out there. But the oil corporations try to control the supply so they can keep their profits high. They do it at the refinery level of production. There hasn’t been a new refinery built in years. If the demand doesn’t change and they can limit the supply, then they can raise the prices. Prices probably won’t go down until people start being less dependant on oil. I’m planning on buying a bicycle myself!^^

Because people aren't that smart. XD
Try Steel water bottles. They're better than nalgene and they don't make the water taste funny.

Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll definitely try it!^^ AHH! I’m SOOOO excited for Anime Expo! But I still have sooo much to do! I’ll be packing all day long, and I have to paint a sword for my Revolutionary Girl Utena costume! I got so excited when I was out shopping with Hiro! I found this old dress at a thrift store and it looks just like the one sophie wears at the end of Howl’s moving castle! I just need to find a hat and I can finally cosplay as a Miyazaki character!! Of course I already have more than enough costumes for this con . . . Here’s the dress I’m talking about: www.moons-eternity.com/cos/sophie.pngEdit: AH! This is my 100th post! YAAAAY!!!! *o*
