Whether you're a newbie or not, it might be a good idea to check out these frequently asked questions. You might be surprised at all the helpful information they contain! That question you’ve been just burning to ask the wise and eminent Yu-Baaba may be answered in these sacred tomes . . .
*Names*
A lot of people ask in the board or neomail me asking for a name and a lot of members join for a long time and don’t inquire about a name at all!
Personally, I think getting a name should be the first thing you do when you join the Bath House! You’re not a real member till you have one!
Now if a member took the time to look at the guild links, the Quest Info page is one of the first links listed and explains all about getting a name! Since most new members don’t do this, I’m putting the link right here in the FAQs!
The concept is pretty simple. If you type out your username in a neomail and send it to me, you can get a Guild Name and start the Bath House Quest. It’s just like signing away your name – it’s your contract to work at the Bath House! I think the names and the quest are one of the things that really set us apart from any other guild and really help create an atmosphere like the real Bath House. It really is important to participate in it!!

*Quest Updates*
I get tons of neomail asking for a next task or a graded task.
First of all – NEVER POST A REQUEST FOR A TASK IN THE MESSAGE BOARD!
This just wastes space as I’m the only one who can give you a task and the rest of the members can only tell you to talk to me.
Secondly, if I haven’t updated your Quest, it’s because I simply don’t have time! I get very busy running the guild and of course living in the real world and I don’t have time to update every member of the guild’s quests. I will get to it when I have time – I promise! So please be patient with me!
My general rule is that I try to update tasks at least once a week. If it’s been more than one week, you are allowed to send one neomail inquiring about your task. After that just please be patient and know I will get to it as soon as I possibly can!
I’m glad you all enjoy your quests. I put a lot of work into them and enjoy doing them with you. But updating them constantly is a full time job and I just don’t have the time I wish I did!
Rarely I do make a mistake and forget about you or lose your task. Most of the time I’ll realize my mistake and contact you about it. If you’ve waited for a very long time for a task or reward it’s possibly one of these oversights and that would be an okay excuse to neomail me about it!
Hope this clears things up. Happy Questing!
*Council*
I get requests and applications all the time from people who just joined the guild wanting to be on the council! Please don’t even think about it if you’ve been in the guild for less than six months! I only want members who have been around long enough to really understand the way the guild works and how I want it to be run!
The thing is I'm very choosy about council members and only consider members who have been active and dedicated for a very long time! I have to be sure I can count on these people to help me out and run the guild when I get too busy!
Also right now Maru and Tin are doing an excellent job. Although I will fill the other spots eventually, I don’t really feel a strong need at the moment. I’d rather focus my energies on improving other things in the guild!
I also want to be sure the applicant is able and willing to help improve the guild. One of the most important things is time. If you only have time to log on to neopets once or twice a week, you really can’t invest the time to be on council!
Also if you have some special skills or ideas and maybe want to help run some new activities or events in the guild, that’s a great show of the kind of help and leadership I’m looking for!
If being on the council is something you're interested in, just keep being active in the message boards and participate in guild events. When I’m ready to look for more council I’ll announce that I’m accepting applications!
You might also want to consider applying for sub-council. To do that send me a neomail explaining your qualifications. It would be a good stepping board later when I’m choosing the main council! :3
