Welcome! This page will feature everything you need to know before you can start Role Playing!!
*First thing you need to know:
We are picking this back up after a VERY long absence, so many changes might need to be made - both to the rules and story! I'm still working out certain details and welcome suggestions and feedback (go to the RP discussion thread!).
*I think I want to stick with the old story we began, but obviously some things need to be modified. I also found an old file of a ton of extra RP posts I never put on the website. I'll have to read through them all to see how well they all fit together . . .
And now for the RP board rules. These apply mainly to the Ongoing Role Play. The General Role Play board is a lot more laid back.
*If you want to be part of the Role Play, you must first post your character bio in the Forum Bios.
You may be a character from the movie (if no one has claimed that character yet), or you may create your own character based on your guild name and rank.
*Once you post your bio, please alert Yu-Baaba either by neomail or a forum private message. You will shortly get confirmation from Yu-Baaba, accepting you into the game. Do NOT try to join in before you get clearance. If there is a problem with your character (i.e. someone else has already taken it) then Yu-Baaba will let you know.
*When you are making an RP post, be sure that your post is at least a paragraph long (about 4-5 sentences). We want to keep the story flowing and one sentence posts keep the plot going nowhere.
*Make sure your post is adding to the story as well. Keep on topic!
*At the top of any RP post, you should always put the following:
(your character's name)(who you are talking to)
For example, if I wanted specifically Lady Hiro to answer, I would write:
(Yu-Baaba)(Hiro)
Or, if I was making the post open for anyone to respond, I would write:
(Yu-Baaba)(open)
*Make sure you don't respond to a post that is directed at a specific character that’s not you! If the post is open, feel free to add your character's input!
*You should read through all the Bios before you start playing, so you know who all the characters are.
*Also, be sure to catch yourself up on the story if you are joining in the middle.
**Most importantly, use your imagination and HAVE FUN!!!!**

I pulled parts of the old storyline (I cut out mostly characters of old members who no longer are active) and I've posted it up in the Role Play board in a new thread entitled
[The Unexpected Guest]
. . . now it's up to you guys!! We are gonna try and pick up where we left off! Feel free to join even if you were not part of the original story. Just be sure to post a bio first and ask for permission to join (you can either ask through neomail or send me a Private Message here at the forum!).
Any questions, feel free to post them in this thread!
