::Origin – Spirits of the Past::

“A rebirth of the past from the ashes of the future”

Origin is a film about a futuristic society where technology and the forest are at war. A girl from the past is awoken from hyper sleep and has to deal with a world that's drastically changed since her time. It turns out that she's the key needed to either bring peace or destruction to the planet!!!

If you've ever seen the anime Blue Gender, I think Origin is kind of a combination of that series and Laputa! Heheh.^^ Particularly some of the last few scenes were so similar to parts of Laputa, I got a little annoyed. On top of that, the lead male character spent half the movie running around shouting out the name of the female lead! But overall it was a very cool film! :3
